Real Club de Golf Sotogrande

Opened in 1964 and designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande is a benchmark for golf in Spain. It stands out for its challenging design with wide fairways, fast greens and strategic bunkers. Its natural environment, surrounded by native trees and close to the sea, creates a privileged atmosphere. Recently renovated, it maintains its original essence and has established itself as one of the best golf courses in Europe.

La Reserva Club Sotogrande

Set high above Sotogrande, La Reserva Club offers a unique golfing experience with exceptional views. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson in 2003, it stands out for its wide fairways, challenging greens and impeccable maintenance. Its exclusive ambience, modern clubhouse and first-class facilities make it a must-visit destination.

Valderrama

Considered one of the best golf courses in Europe, Valderrama is an iconic course that has hosted prestigious international tournaments, including the 1997 Ryder Cup. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., it is characterised by its precision and difficulty, with narrow fairways and greens protected by strategic bunkers. The famous 17th hole stands out, known as "the nightmare hole" for its challenging island green. Valderrama represents excellence and exclusivity in the world of golf.

San Roque Club
(Old & New Course)

San Roque Club has two outstanding golf courses: the Old Course and the New Course. The Old Course, designed by Dave Thomas in 1990, offers a classic course with wide fairways, fast greens and century-old cork oaks, and is the venue for European Tour Qualifying School tournaments. The New Course, opened in 2003 and designed by Perry Dye, is more modern and challenging, with undulating fairways and strategic water hazards. Together, they make San Roque a must-visit destination for golfers.

Almenara Golf Club

Almenara Golf Club has a 27-hole course designed by Dave Thomas, surrounded by nature and lakes. Its flexible design allows different 18-hole courses to be combined, adapting to different levels of play. The undulating fairways and strategic bunkers offer a technical challenge. Set in a spectacular setting, with views of the Mediterranean and the mountains, its luxury hotel and spa complete an unforgettable golf experience in Sotogrande.

La Cañada Golf Club

Located in Guadiaro, near Sotogrande, La Cañada is an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr (front nine) and Dave Thomas (back nine). Its dynamic and accessible course is suitable for players of all levels. It stands out for its excellent maintenance, friendly atmosphere and views of the Mediterranean. Although less exclusive than other clubs in the area, it offers a first class golfing experience and an outstanding academy that has trained young talent.
